Available in a variety of sizes, they are perfect for conference and lobby areas, executive offices, hospitality environments, retail stores, and transportation terminals. FROST™acoustical ceiling panels with FIRECODE™ formulation are designed to meet life safety codes.FROST™ acoustical ceiling panels are durable panels that feature excellent sound control. With a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of .70 and a ceiling attenuation class (CAC) of up to 40, they are perfect for open plan office environments or private offices.
The panels are made with a cast process that enhances their surface appearance and provides excellent sound absorption and durability. The cast process ensures uniform color throughout panel, which masks nicks and scratches. This long-lasting, abuse-resistant surface cleans easily with a brush or vacuum.
With their exceptional CAC values, FROST panels provide an excellent combination of NRC and CAC. They have nearly double the impact resistance of typical fine-textured ceiling panels as tested by ASTM C367, and they resist "breathing" (air passing through the surface), staying cleaner longer.
The panels are classified as zero-emitting; concentration levels do not exceed 2 µg/m3 (1.6 ppb), the background level specified per California Special Environmental Requirements, Specifications Section 01350.
